What Do You Want to Be?

Choosing which course and university to pursue your undergraduate studies might be confusing. But it doesn't have to be when you have counsellors to assist you with the bigger picture and what opportunities lie ahead of you. Hence, the Centre for Pre-University Studies successfully organized a session with 70 Form 5 students from SMK Syahbandar on the topic “Pathway after SPM through Foundation”. This session was delivered by Mdm Masitah bt Mat, Director for Centre for Pre-University Studies.

Centre for Pre-University Studies offered two types of foundation which is Foundation in Science and Business. It is one year programme that is specially designed for students who have successfully completed their Malaysian SPM, GCE, O-levels or equivalent. Foundation is one of ticket to continue for degree programme which is fast-track, structures along three semesters of studies and is fully accredited by MQA.

There are a lot of reasons why students should choose MAHSA university to continue their foundation studies. First, MAHSA university provide scholarship for students who have completed SPM and O-Levels with outstanding results. Successful completion of these foundation programmes enable entry into the first year of an undergraduate degree at MAHSA university such as MBBS, Dentistry, Pharmacy and many more.

The lecturers are well-experienced and knowledgeable too. MAHSA university also have Mobility Programme where it is an unique opportunity for students to study abroad for up to one year in a foreign country. This study abroad programme lets students experience different cultures and practices from around the world.

We hope that this session might help the students to have an insight about foundation programme in MAHSA. We would like to wish all the best to all the students for their upcoming SPM examination, to be given good health, to be calm when answering the question papers and to achieve success in life.
