INSIGHTS @ MAHSA

Research '20 was held on the 30th June 2021, which was the second annual one-day celebratory event that brought researchers together with the university staff and students and the broader MAHSA community. The presentations showcased the diversity of research projects by undergraduates, graduate students, staff researchers and other scholars in the University and gave researches the opportunity to practice presenting to a general audience, be eligible for monetary awards, and to get coaching on poster design and presentation skills Those who attended the event learnt about the various research areas and celebrated the knowledge gained on research and creative works that are being done on campus by cheering on their fellow students and researchers and getting ideas for new collaborations and a chance to put their thoughts into choosing their majors. On September 5th, 2015, I came to MAHSA University at Jalan University as a scholarship student from Nigeria, where I was offered a Foundation programme in Science. However, the lack of interest in the offered field made me reject it. Fortunately, I met the then Dean of Nursing, Prof Zahra, whom I refer to as mummy, who counselled me and enrolled me into the Bachelor of Nursing Programme (Cohort 2). With her help and guidance, I pursued my studies in my dream course at MAHSA University.   Everything changed when I graduated with First Class and was awarded the Vice-Chancellor award in BSc Nursing on October 17th,2019. I was the best and top student in the Nursing Faculty. I was over the moon when I was fully registered with Malaysia nursing and midwifery council.   Today, I    have secured a professional certificate from Nigeria Nursing and Midwifery Council (NNMC).
