MAHSA International Conference on Education and Applied Science (Mi-EdAS) 2022

The Centre for Pre-University Studies and Centre for Education and Language successfully organized the MAHSA International Conference on Education and Applied Science (Mi-EdAS) 2022 . The conference started with its live streamed opening ceremony via Facebook and YouTube and was professionally emceed by Ms Muness Priya.

The inaugural address was given by Prof. Ir. Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Samad followed by Professor Dato’ Dr. Ikram Shah Bin Ismail who officiated the conference.  Unexpectedly, it ended earlier than planned. Hence, we swiftly slotted in an oral presentation from Mr. Mohamad Badrul Adzham Bin Baharudin on the topic of "Perbandingan Sistem Pendidikan British dan Jepun di Tanah Melayu, 1874 -1945." The symposium ended at 10.30 am and resumed as scheduled with a keynote speech by Dr. Puteri Azlian Megat Ramli on a great topic which was "Assessment Strategies for 21st Century Learning." followed by another keynote speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vetriselvan Subramaniyan on another interesting topic which was "Promising Nutritional Fruits against Cardiovascular Diseases: Scientific Evidence and Mechanism of Action."

The keynote speeches received warm responses from the audience, with many of them asking questions.

The conference then proceeded with three oral presentation sessions in the track "Anthropology, Language, Education, and Social Science", chaired and moderated by Ms. Nur Sufieleenna Sari.

Thenceforward, followed by another five oral presentation sessions in the track "Fundamental and Applied Science", chaired and moderated by Dr. Chew Weiyun. The symposiums were ardently presented by the presenters with enthusiastic responses from the audience, especially during Q&A sessions. As such, we have achieved the outcome of networking and sharing the research among the participants.

The topics presented at the conference are well-qualified, detailed, factual, and meticulous. We concluded the conference with a closing remark by Dr. Norhayati Binti Mohd Nasir as the Conference Co-Chair, followed by a photo session with all the participants and the organizing committee.
