Time Project 2023

“This is our Time” originated from the UNESCO Associated Schools Project. Currently, this project is organized by Time Project Headquarters in Canada in cooperation with Time Ambassadors, who are expert teachers who have been involved with the Time Project in organizing for years. Our mission is to empower youth to understand and act on the world’s greatest challenges as they are the future of our world. Centre for pre-University Studies had multiple Video conferences with schools from around the world on 08/12/23. The countries we had conferences with include Croatia, Taiwan, Poland, Canada, and India. The interaction and cultural exchange were intriguing and awakening so our students had a wonderful time. This project is the epitome of fun learning. This platform truly helped students express their voices. The topics discussed were Global Refugee Crisis, Rising Temperature of the planet and Artificial Intelligence Pros and Cons. Video conferencing 

Enchanted Echoes: Choral Speaking & Theatre by School of Education

On November 24th, 2023, the School of Education (SOE) from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing and Education (FOHSNE) hosted its inaugural " ENCHANTED ECHOES: CHORAL SPEAKING & THEATRE " event, featuring the talents of 50 Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (DTESL) students and 46 Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE) students. This captivating showcase of choral speaking, theatre, and dance performances was meticulously crafted under the guidance of DTESL and DECE lecturers. The event served as a culmination of months of dedicated rehearsals, planning, and collaboration, fulfilling the assessments for ELE 4173 (Public Speaking) and ECEC4295 (Music, Movement and Drama in ECE) modules. Held in the auditorium, the event was inaugurated by our Faculty Dean Assoc. Prof Dr. Veronica Chua who commended the school for organizing this wonderful event. Also in attendance were the school’s industry advisors as well as faculty students and staff . "

MedPath: Navigating your Medical Journey

The MedPath event took place at MAHSA University, providing an immersive experience for students from Kwang Hua Private High School in Klang. The event was meticulously organized, offering a diverse range of activities tailored to enlighten and guide students on their potential paths towards a career in medicine. The event commenced with an engaging presentation, focusing on the MBBS pathway at MAHSA, outlining the academic journey necessary for aspiring medical professionals. A detailed discussion provided insights into scholarships and financing options specifically designed for the MBBS program, aiming to inform students about the available financial support avenues for their medical education. Following that, a captivating live demonstration showcased EEG tracing, offering practical insights into neurology and the application of medical technology in diagnosing neurological conditions.
