IPE once again brought us another talk in its monthly series with the topic, High Impact Internship on 6th October 2022. Ms Vimalla Kerisnan, a Senior HR Executive at Everlife-Chemopharm shared her experience on internship and highlights how it would actually benefit both employers and the students. It is important to understand the concept of internship itself for us to appreciate the values that will be gained from the internship.  Internship is a short-term work experience offered by companies—usually students, but not always—to get some entry-level exposure to a particular industry or field. CSR: Influencing Positive Change at Work

  The IPE Committee at MAHSA University continuously supports the students of MAHSA University by bringing in external speakers' to share their experiences on skills-sets that are anticipated as essential for future industrial needs. IPE in its special event series with its second talk entitled “Corporate Social Responsibility: Influencing positive change at work", invited Ms Shafinaz Suhaimi, Senior Manager at MyKasih Foundation. Entrepreneurial Skill Set: Empowering Youth to Create Leaders

  The Internship, Placement and Employability (IPE) Committee at MAHSA University continuously helps the students with entrepreneurial programs and supports entrepreneurs by getting their ideas off the ground. IPE began its series of Special Event Talks on Feb 10, 2022 with its first talk entitled ‘Entrepreneurial Skill Set: Empowering Youth to Create Leaders’ by Mr. Christopher Tock, Group Chief Executive Officer, Digitally.Asia Group Malaysia, as well as Chief Executive Officer, Cause Effect Digital and SocialGrooves.com. Addressing hundreds of MAHSA students, staff and visitors, and even guests online, Mr. Christopher Tock advised the students to grab all forms of opportunities, acquire knowledge and be the best one can be. Instead of waiting for the others, if one feels strongly about something, just take the ball and solve the root issue, as if one were to wait for others, it may never happen.
