Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) workshop for MAHSA Physiotherapy Students

Physiotherapy students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing and Education (FOHSNE), MAHSA University were privileged to attend a hands-on workshop by Mr. Liam Harkness a leading Sport therapist from UK with more than 25 years’ experience treating clients with all kinds of long-term health issues and chronic pain. Liam studied and worked with Aaron Mattes, the founder of Active Isolated Stretching (AIS). Under Aaron's tutelage, Liam developed his approach to sports performance and rehabilitation by learning to optimize force distribution during movement. Liam conducted this 3-hour for MAHSA students with the help of his assistant Ms. Jasmine Pang who coincidentally is a Physiotherapy alumna   of MAHSA University.
