Have you ever wondered why MAHSA University, Saujana Putra campus have many swing sets along the walk path at the second floor known as The Spine. For whatever purposes those swings have been set and installed, we managed to find the benefits of using them every day.
Students leisure reading to fill in their free time
Juggling tight class schedules, assignments and nerve-wrecking examinations, make students mentally and physically exhausted. Our students, who are mostly young adults, seek to retreat to a place where they can take a break from their business schedules and a swing is the perfect place to chill. These swings are surrounded with lush green plants at the corners and sides along the walk path, which makes it more peaceful and relaxing to be hanging out in.
There are two distinct types of swings at MAHSA campus. The first one is a white circular shaped swings that emits a special fluorescent light in green, yellow and red. Scientifically it's proven that coloured lights have an effect on our bodies, pain levels and mood. Light green reduces headaches, migraine and ailments related to pain.
Hanging Egg Swing Chair is convenient for students to do leisure reading to fill in their free time.
Since the swing chairs are mostly located at the corner, near to the Student Central area, it can help students to do their own work such as reading, listening to music, scrolling the information via mobile phone, etc. These features are aesthetically pleasing with sturdy frame of chairs made from rattan and covered by cushion which support spine curvature, which avoids back ache compare to typical chairs. Moreover, its cocoon effect provides students with a feeling of protection and safety that can allow them to focus on their activity rather than external stimuli.
Taking a break before continuing the next laboratory session!
There are many benefits of the installation of swings for MAHSA students. First, it is a simple way for students to workout and lose weight. Second, it will reduce stress and anxiety among students, particularly during examination season. It is also a good way to get fresh air after their back-to-back classes every day. They can hang out with their friends in the area while looking at the water fountain in front of MAHSA. All these features make university life more special!
