Dear Stress, Let’s Break Up! Sports for Stress Reduction

Many people are prone to depression because they experience weariness and exhaustion from their daily obligations, particularly teachers and students. Some people may not, have the "capacity" to recognize the pressure they are under. We are aware that changes in ourselves might be felt when stress piles up, especially rapidly altering emotions. Stressed individuals often have sensitive personalities and become quickly agitated, even about things that seem trivial. Long-lasting headaches and shoulder spasms may be early signs of the body's reaction to too much stress.

Stress that isn't managed well or isn't under control can harm general health. As a result, both teachers and students need to find ways to control their stress through a variety of recreational activities. Making sports a lifelong habit and living a healthy lifestyle are two of the best methods to minimize stress. All physical activities that demand energy and dexterity, such as playing sports, are done for entertainment, to participate in competitions, or simply to fill idle time. Athletics, football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and tennis are a few examples of sports that are highly popular today. Physically demanding activities such as sports not only benefit the body but also help people become more action-oriented thinkers.

Each person is urged to set aside 30 minutes every day, either in the morning or after work, to brush their teeth, exercise, or at the very least jog around the house. All of this is done to make sure that your health is at its peak so that you can experience less stress. Numerous people go out in addition to improving their health for aesthetic and fitness reasons, particularly to stave off fatigue. It is possible to increase each person's stamina to a higher level through continuous and consistent sports activity. In relation to the activity itself, each person must select a sport that is appropriate for their health or physical condition in order to prevent any negative impacts.

For that reason, MAHSA University always promotes physical activities and sports such as football, tennis, badminton, taekwando, kick boxing, futsal, basketball, Muay Thai, karate, fitness classes and swimming classes among students, staff and the public. The fact that MAHSA University has partnered with German and European football powerhouses Borussia Dortmund since 2019 is evidence that the institution has all the necessary facilities, including football fields, futsal courts, basketball & tennis courts and gymnasium, to develop athletes of the highest level on the international stage.

On top of that, MAHSA University boasts a swimming pool that, in terms of width, depth, and amenities, satisfies Olympic requirements. The university's facilities appear to have been extensively utilized by Mahsa University students and the public. The fact that this institution consistently has the talent to represent the university in events at the national Higher Education Institution (IPT) level is proof. The personnel of MAHSA University are able to become instructors and students who are always engaged and, of course, they are able to manage the strain they encounter with constructive activities. MAHSA University will continue to be a leader in developing capable students and instructors who are ready to meet future problems by using the motto "healthy body, brilliant mind" as a guideline.
