Engineering, Science and Technology Exhibition (ESTE 2023)




The Engineering, Science and Technology Exhibition (ESTE 2023) was organized by Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment at MAHSA University. The participants involved in this event were Final Year students, capstone project students and participants from other universities. They showcased their respective projects which were judged by industrial and academic panels.
The exhibition had more than 65 projects presented from students which were related to IR4.0 and Green Technology. Students from MAHSA University and other institutions such as SEGi and USCI competed with each other on their research projects presentation. More than 24 panels from industry and academicians joined to evaluate students' tasks, which added value to the event and they all praised the students' work especially with its aptness towards the current industry and education demands.

As part of the closing ceremony of the event, Ir. Amir presented on Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics - Big Data In Service Engineering. The event ended with the presentation of the awards to the participants followed by a closing speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Assoc Prof Dr Iman Farschchi on complex engineering and students learning outcome on such a hands on event.

ESTE is an annual event held by the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and Information Technology which allows its students to set their projects out for a competitive edge with the rest of the Engineering students within the country.

Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist. JAKOA's message was shared on their TikTok page (@jakoamalaysia) based on a post made by the Malaysia Orang Asli Students' Association (PMOA) on their Facebook page.
