Industry Talk: Rail Industry in Malaysia

On June 26, 2023, the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and Information Technology (FOEBEIT) hosted an insightful industrial talk titled "Rail Industry in Malaysia," featuring Ir. Gopal Narian Kutty as the distinguished speaker.

The primary aim of this talk was to provide students with exposure to the current technologies and the various engineering aspects related to the railway industry. The session offered a comprehensive overview of the rail industry in Malaysia, shedding light on the different areas in which engineers can actively participate, including rail transportation, project construction, maintenance, repair, and training. Ir. Gopal Narian Kutty also generously shared insights regarding the knowledge and skills that engineers must acquire to excel in this dynamic industry.

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
