Cook With Pride with Chef Qayyum


Chef Qayyum Irwanzi, hailing from the Centre of Hospitality Management, received an invitation to serve as a guest speaker, sharing his nearly decade-long expertise in the food and beverages industry. His insightful session was specifically tailored for breast cancer survivors, focusing on the importance of healthy eating.

The event featured not only Chef Qayyum's enlightening presentation but also engaging hands-on cooking activities where participants had the opportunity to prepare several nutritious dishes. Furthermore, all attendees enthusiastically took part in a cooking demonstration session.

Dato Azrene Abdullah, the Chairman of the Breast Cancer Foundation, graced the occasion with her presence, adding prestige to the event. A total of 40 resilient breast cancer survivors actively participated, making this gathering an informative and inspiring experience for them.

Beyond its significance for the participants, this event also served as a noteworthy CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative aimed at promoting our Centre of Hospitality Management to the wider public, highlighting our commitment to community well-being.
