On June 22nd, 2023, the Faculty of Business, Hospitality, Accounting, and Finance organized a Talent Hunt event to foster engagement among diploma and degree students and their lecturers. The purpose of this event was to provide students with an experiential activity outside the classroom where they could interact with their lecturers and fellow students within the same faculty. A talent hunt, talent competition, or talent contest is a show in which students perform acts on stage, aiming to win a prize for the best performance. This event consisted of a series of individual performances, such as singing, by students who had the opportunity to be recognized for their talent.
A total of 80 students and 20 lecturers participated in the event.
During the event, diploma and degree students had the chance to come together, despite their different races, religions, and countries of origin, and enjoy various activities such as solo and duet performances with the lecturers.
As a result of this event, students and lecturers had the opportunity to socialize and interact with one another. Moreover, the students not only showcased their capabilities but also overcame their fear of facing the audience, becoming more confident in the process.
