MAHSA International Sustainable Infrastructure Technology and Environment Conference 2023 (Mi-SITE23)

On June 23, 2023, MAHSA University's Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment hosted the prestigious MAHSA International Sustainable Infrastructure Technology and Environment Conference 2023 (Mi-SITE23).

The conference, dedicated to the theme of International Sustainable Infrastructure Technology and Environment, was skillfully organized by the esteemed Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at MAHSA University, taking place on a Friday. The event commenced with an inspiring opening speech delivered by Prof. Dato Dr. Ikram Shah bin Ismail, setting the tone for the day's proceedings. Assoc Prof Ts Dr. Iman Farshchi followed with a warm welcome to all attendees.

The morning session featured three distinguished keynote speakers: Sr. Isacc Sunder Rajan, Ir. Noor Idayu, and Mr. Suffian, who shared their valuable insights and expertise on topics of utmost importance. In the afternoon, an engaging presentation session unfolded, featuring active participation from researchers, lecturers, and students hailing not only from MAHSA University but also from various other esteemed institutions and industry partners. Their presentations encompassed a wide array of topics, including the latest advancements in Industry 4.0, Green Technology, and Digital Transformation. These presentations underwent meticulous evaluation by panels of academic experts.

It's worth noting that the conference embraced a hybrid format, enabling the convergence of academicians, researchers, and industry professionals from across the globe. This unique format fostered the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the fields of engineering technology and the built environment. Moreover, it served as an invaluable platform for researchers, educators, and students to showcase their most recent innovations, address practical challenges, and propose solutions in their respective fields.

The paper presentation session concluded at 3:30 pm, marking a fruitful day of scholarly discourse.

To celebrate excellence, the event included the presentation of two distinct categories of awards: the Best Paper Awards and the Best Presenter Awards. These esteemed accolades, along with certificates of recognition, were conferred by Assoc. Dr. Iman Farshchi, adding prestige to the occasion. The event culminated with a closing speech delivered by Mr. Zulkhairi Bosro, the Conference Chair and a prominent figure in the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment & IT at MAHSA University. The conference officially concluded at 5:00 pm.

Notably, the event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants and the engaged audience, who found immense value in their involvement and hailed their experiences at this highly regarded conference.
