MAHSA Collaborates with Germany's University of Applied Sciences

 


The Hochschule Weserbergland (HSW) is a nationally recognized and accredited private University of Applied Sciences in the ownership of an association. It is located in Hamelin, Lower Saxony, where it provides dual bachelor's degree courses in the fields of business administration, economics, computer science, and industrial engineering. It also offers part-time bachelor's degree programmes in business administration and industrial engineering, and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in general management.

In close cooperation with partner companies and supporting members, HSW also develops and implements further education programs for professionals and executives as well as research and development projects. In addition to an Institute for Personnel Development and Lifelong Learning, there is an Institute for Knowledge Management as well as an Institute for Efficient Energy Systems that facilitate a valuable transfer between science and industry. 

Today MAHSA University is proud to announce the successful signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding with Hochschule Weserbergland, the 1st German University in collaboration with MAHSA. The ceremony took place virtually with Prof Dato' Dr Ikram Shah, Vice-Chancellor of MAHSA University, signing on behalf of MAHSA, and Prof Dr. Meik Friedrich, Vice President for Study Programmes, Instruction and Research, Internationalisation Officer and Professor of Financial Management and Risk Management, signed on behalf of HSW. Also present were, Prof Dr. Alla Kesava Rao, Chief Executive Officer of MAHSA University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syriac Nellikunnel, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Finance, Accounting, and Hospitality (FBFAH), Dr. Iman Farshchi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and Information Technology (FEBEIT).

This collaboration will open up strategic partnership plans for the various levels of programmes offered under FBFAH, as well as FEBEIT in MAHSA University.

Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
