Mr Kasipandian Kasirajan, BE
Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ME Power Electronics and Drives, is pursuing
his PhD and serves as Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Built
Environment and (Research) MAHSA University, Malaysia. Mr Kasipandian is an
academician with over twenty research publications. He has received two
international patents, one of which is “A Robotic system to check battery quality
in manufacturing industries using Artificial Intelligence”, Australian Patent
number 2021101304, and the other, “Cloud key SAAS autonomous AIOT control
system and method thereof”, Australian patent number 2021106451. His main
research interests are solar-power plants, wind-power plants and electric vehicles.
Mr Kasipandian’s career began after his
BE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), when he joined the Government College
of Engineering Tirunelveli as a graduate trainee, simultaneously pursing his
Master of Engineering in Power Electronics and Drives in the same institution.
After finishing his studies, he became a lecturer at PET Engineering College in
Vallioor, Tirunelveli. After two years he joined the Infant Jesus College of
Engineering Tuticorin District as a lecturer. Then he joined Einstein College
of Engineering where he developed his career by organising a number of
conferences, workshops, faculty development programmes and symposia. He received
sponsorships of Rs30,000 from DRDO and Rs.30,000 from CSIR for conducting the
conference “RAPCED”. He participated and presented a paper titled “Rotor
position estimation of SRM using ANN” and got the Best Paper award in the National
Conference on Engineering Applications for Developing Smart Cities (NCEADS) organised
by Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology, Salem on 30 March 2015.
He also received the Certificate of
Merit and Certificate of Appreciation for his excellent results in semester examinations
when working at the Einstein College of Engineering. He gave a talk on
“Fortification of an Intrumentation control and special Electrical Machines” on
30 March 2012 organised by Dr GU Pope College of Engineering, Thoothukudi. He was
also invited as a judge to preside over a national-level technical symposium
called Avalanche 2K13 organised by the Government College of Engineering,
Tirunelveli on 27 February 2013. He was invited as Chief Guest and jury member
of a national-level technical symposium called VERS-13 on 19 March 2013 at St Mother
Theresa Engineering College and as a judge presiding over a national-level conference
on Innovative Technologies in Engineering (NCITE’15) on 27 February 2015 organised
by Dr GU Pope College of Engineering, Thoothukudi. He has presented a number of webinars related
to solar-powered plants and electric-vehicle charging techniques. MAHSA University
is constantly encouraging Researchers like Mr Kasipandian Kasirajan in their
constant growth.
MAHSA University has planned to
implement green-technology concepts at our Bandar Saujana Putra campus. As a
token of this implementation, MAHSA is currently working on eco-village
projects. In the project, Mr Kasipandian is working on the design of solar-powered
plants to generate power for hydroponic and aquaponic projects. In this project
he is designing the charge controller, inverter, battery size and solar panel
for the defined electrical loads used in eco-village projects.
