Now You Can Have Your Coffee and Eat Your Cup Too

MAHSA Green Warriors are pleased to introduce their very own home-made edible cups as a tasty, and environmentally friendly solution to eradicate the rise in plastic and paper waste. This eco-friendly approach will soon make way to the dining tables at M-Brasserie which is MAHSA University's Restaurant managed by the Centre of Hospitality Management.

In last Sunday's MAHSA Education Fair, an official event was held between MAHSA Green Warriors and Centre of Hospitality Management's Head, Mr Yeoh. An exchange of cups from the Warriors and Coffee from M-Brasserie was enjoyed by all those present. Students who were on their One Day in MAHSA tour had the chance to grab a cup of coffee for themselves with these edible cups too.

These edible cups are made out of wheat and coco-powder with a calorie count of approximately 160 and is able to hold a hot beverage for approximately 35mins. A variety of ingredients can be used to make these edible cups based of its user preference, said Dr. Nagarajah and Prof. Dr. Srikumar, who are part of the Green Warrior Committee at MAHSA University.

Kudos to them on their effort!
