Local
cosmetic distributor brand Alha Alfa Cosmetics under Alha Alfa Rich Legacy Sdn
Bhd (AARLSB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MAHSA
University (MAHSA) today in an effort to empower progress in the national beauty
industry through the field of education.
The event held at MAHSA University marks the partnership between MAHSA and Alha Alfa Rich
Legacy Sdn Bhd (AARLSB) to enable an exchange of technical skills and academics
in the areas of teaching, training, research and product development. The
collaboration includes academic programmes and research efforts, the exchange
of information and essential scientific materials, publications, and other
relevant resources. This
partnership also involves exchanges in research, academic manpower and
students, the organisation of national and international conferences, cultural
activities, and beauty and health.
According to
Dato Sri Al Halim Bin Al Fadzil,
this collaboration is the first step towards greater cooperation in the future
between MAHSA and Alha Alfa Rich Legacy Sdn Bhd. The creation of a diploma
programme in the field of cosmetics and beauty is the primary aim to help
Malaysian make-up artists who have been awaiting recognition at university
level. Also, this partnership means that aspiring make-up artists will be able
to obtain qualifications before embarking on their careers.
Both parties
have begun their respective plans in this effort to develop and boost the
beauty and health industry in the country. It is also hoped that this joint
effort will create opportunities to explore the international market.
As an
initial step, representatives of both Alha Alfa Cosmetics and MAHSA University
will be holding small beauty workshops throughout Malaysia to explain the
details of the programme, beginning with Sabah and Sarawak in April 2022 and
then throughout West Malaysia. Further details can be found on Alha Alfa’s
social media pages.
