MAHSA International Conference in Accounting & Business (MiCAB) 2022


MAHSA University's Faculty of Business, Hospitality, Accounting and Finance, in collaboration with Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management Studies and Research, Navi Mumbai organised an online International Conference in Accounting and Business (MiCAB 2022) on 25th of March. The conference was opened by Prof.Dato’Dr.Ikram Shah Bin Ismail,Vice Chancellor, MAHSA University, Dr.Syriac Devasia, Conference Chair and Dean, Faculty of Business, Hospitality, Accounting and Finance,Dr.Srikumar Chakravarthi, Director, Postgraduate Studies, Research and Innovation, MHASA University and Dr. Anjali Kalse, Conference Convener and Director, BVIMSR, Navi Mumbai inaugurated the international conference and expressed their best wishes.

The Key note speakers of the conference was Dato Munirah Looi, Founder and CEO, Brandt International, Dr. Balakrishnan Parsuraman, UMK, Malaysia, TPr Dr. Norhazliza Abd Halim, Head-Tourism Planning Research Group Program Coordinator, M.Sc. Tourism Planning, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Dr. Sajeev Nair- CEO and Founder Chairman, India Competent HR Solutions and ASSET and Dr.I.C. Gupta- Professor Emeritus, Oriental University, India expressed their views on digital transformation and innovation for achieving business sustainability. 

The researchers from Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, Tunisia etc. contributed and presented papers in the conference. Dr.Alex Kim Ren Jye, Dr.Purvi Pujari and Arhanti Gawade won the Best Presentation Award.

Prof.Kuldeep Bhalerao, Co-Convener Conference, BVIMSR, Navi Mumbai expressed his gratitude towards Dr.Syriac , Dr.Vilasrao Kadam and Dr. Anjali Kalse for mentoring and motivating the members of the organising committee and Dr. Pang Kim Kwong, Dr. Farha Zafira, Dr.Rasheedul Haque, Dr. Tara Ahmad Mohammed, Prof. Veena Kolte, Dr.Asmat Ara Shaikh and Fatin Syazwani Binti Safiyuddin for their support in making this conference successful and added another feather in the crown of MAHSA and BVIMSR.

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
