 Introduction

The IPT League, also known as Liga Bolasepak IPT, is a Malaysian football league for higher learning institutions form government and private institution. It began in 2010 as a competition to win the Piala Menteri Pengajian Tinggi (Higher Education Ministry Cup). The league format has evolved, expanding to include three divisions (Divisyen 1, Divisyen 2, and Divisyen 3).

MAHSA United Football Club, simply known as MAHSA United is a registered club under the Malaysia Sports Commissioner Office (PJS), Ministry of Youth and Sports. MUFC is a Malaysian football club based in MAHSA University, Jenjarom, Kuala Langat District, Selangor. It plays in the A3 Community League and Malaysia A2 Amateur League of the Malaysian football league system.

MAHSA United Football Club (MUFC) Crowned IPT League Division 2 Champions 2025
MAHSA United Football Club (MUFC) has etched their name in the Malaysian inter-varsity football scene by emerging as Champions of the IPT League Division 2, 2025. Held from 13th to 21st June 2025 at UiTM Arau, the victory marks the end of a determined two-season journey in Division 2 and secures MUFC's well-deserved promotion to Division 1, along with a prestigious spot in the Minister’s League 2025.

MAHSA United showed remarkable consistency and resilience throughout the tournament, winning all six matches and conceding just one goal:

15/6 – MUFC 1 - 0 UTM (Padang Rani)
16/6 – UMK FC 0 - 2 MUFC (Padang Rusa)
17/6 – MUFC 2 - 0 KK MAS (Padang Jati)
👋Knockout Rounds:
Quarterfinal (18/6) – MUFC 3 - 0 UTHM
Semi-final (19/6) – MUFC 1 - 1 UUM (MUFC won 3-2 on penalties)
Final (20/6) – MUFC 1 - 0 UM

Best Player: MUHAMMAD IZHAM BIN NOR ALIZAN (Jersey No.16 – Captain)
A pillar of strength and composure, Izham guided the team with leadership and consistency.
Top Scorer: AMIR HAKIMI BIN MOHD DASUKI (Jersey No.26)
With 6 goals, Amir was the tournament's standout striker and a constant threat to opponents.

🙋MUFC Management Team
    Mr. R Navarathnaraja a/l Ramamurti (Technical Director): With vast experience in football management, Mr. Navarathnaraja leads the technical direction of the club, ensuring player development and team strategies align with the club’s vision.
👊Coaching Team
  1. Mr. Yogeswaran A/L Veeramalai (Head Coach): An ex-Selangor State player, Coach Yogeswaran brings invaluable experience both as a former player and a coach. His leadership helps drive the team's tactical approach and growth.
  2. Mr. Khairul Azuar Bin Kamirun (Assistant Head Coach): Also an ex-Selangor State player, Coach Khairul’s extensive coaching experience aids in refining team strategies and developing the skills of the players.
  3. Mr. Chidi Kingsley Offor (Goalkeeper Coach): Specializing in goalkeeping, Coach Kingsly’s coaching ensures that the club’s keepers receive expert training and preparation for matches.

  1. Mr. Mohd Asrulhisham bin Mohd Shaari (Team Manager): Mr. Asrulhisham plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly from player logistics to match preparations.
  2. Madam Rohaida Izlin Binti Ibrahim (Team Administrator): Madam Rohaida oversees the administrative functions that support the team, including player coordination, communication, and scheduling.
  3. Mr. Julian Christopher Richard (Head of Physiotherapy and Medical): Mr. Julian’s expertise in physiotherapy and medical care ensures that the players maintain peak fitness, recover from injuries, and receive proper medical attention to keep them in top condition.
  4. Mr Maahesh Pereabaher (Physiotherapist): Mr Maahesh Pereabaher works alongside Mr. Julian, providing specialized physiotherapy services to keep the players in their best physical form, focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
  5. Mr Thevan Raj Kumar A/L Anbalagan (Kitman): Responsible for managing all the jerseys and equipment needed for the team during training and matches.
Together, this team forms the backbone of MAHSA United’s football program, using their collective knowledge and experience to guide and mentor the players to greater heights.

Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist. JAKOA's message was shared on their TikTok page (@jakoamalaysia) based on a post made by the Malaysia Orang Asli Students' Association (PMOA) on their Facebook page. PMOA shared this announcement on their social media on September 30th. Tan Bee Hui A/P Tan Boon Huat is MAHSA University Dental Faculty Alumni who successfully completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery earlier this year.
