Research Efforts with Youjiang Medical University, China

Borderless education is really the beauty of the now thanks to the advancement of technology. It has made collaborating on research even more exclusive in bringing great minds together in achieving its goals. Today we had a successful meeting with Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities, China, a follow-up from an MOU signing between YMUN and MAHSA's Faculty of Medicine, Bioscience and Nursing back in June this year. The objective of the memorandum was to collaborate on research, innovation and enterprise efforts with the two scientific centres - Guangxi Research Centre and Systemic Inflammation Research Centre, with two projects under Guangxi and three under the latter with a total funding of  ¥1Million.

Through this collaboration, MAHSA University will lend its research expertise coupled with the state-of-the-art research facilities at YMUN so that more developments in research and innovation can be brought out for the greater benefit of societies. MAHSA also looks forward to welcoming YMUN Doctorate students this December to kick-start these research efforts.

Present at this virtual meeting were YMUN faculty members and MAHSA University's research team, and a special thanks to Ms. Echo for being our translator and bridging our efforts linguistically.
