From Foundation to Undergraduate - An Alumni Sharing Session

Author : Norlaila Najwa bt Rahman

The Centre for Pre-University Studies (CPU) hosted an Alumni Sharing Session through Microsoft Team last 28th October. This two-hour long session was opened to a panel of CPU alumni, Sandy Chan Hui Ling, Walter Jeremiah, and Caven Chong were the three speakers. They are all Foundation in Science graduates who are currently enrolled in MAHSA University's MBBS program.

The alumni introduced themselves and shared their experiences and strategies for succeeding in each semester, such as effective study methods. They also shared their perspectives on life after graduation with current students. The juniors benefited from this event in two ways: they learned new material, and the alumni were allowed to reflect on their time in the foundation.

They also provided answers to the juniors' doubts and inquiries. We could tell how excited the students were by the number of questions they posed during the alumni sharing session. Hopefully, the students will gain more information and insights from the alumni's diverse experiences, making them more prepared to plan their future. This alumni sharing event was a success since it provided students with information about their future degree programs.

It's wonderful to see our graduates succeeding in their undergraduate studies.
