Students Industrial Visit Novugen Oncology Division

Our final year Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) students visited Novugen Oncology Manufacturing on 19 January 2023. Novugen is a global pharmaceutical company specialising in complex and highly technical generics for all therapeutic areas of oncology and general medicine while meeting strict global quality standards.

This one-day industrial visit was to provide an opportunity for the students to learn the practical aspects of manufacturing processes. They acquired insights on the raw material procurement, production, quality control, technology transfer and other activities of Novugen Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd.

The students were eager and excited to be exposed to the real setup of the pharmaceutical industry and its operations. They also obtained useful information about their career pathways in the industry sectors. This visit has certainly created a platform for a significant industrial exposure and enables our students to understand the environment working in the industry.

Faculty of Pharmacy, MAHSA University and Novugen Oncology Sdn Bhd have mutually agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to facilitate future student industry training, internship placements and industry sponsored seminars for the students of MAHSA University.

Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
