[#MAHSAConvo25] Dreams Take Flight: MAHSA University Marks Two Decades of Excellence with Inspiring 25th Convocation


On a crisp 16th November early morning, MAHSA University transformed The Ballroom at Bandar Saujana Putra into a vibrant celebration of achievement, marking not just a milestone convocation but two decades of transformative education. With over 500 graduates donning their caps and gowns, the air was electric with hope, pride, and endless possibilities.


The event was more than just a ceremony—it was a testament to human potential. Law Shen Hong, recipient of the prestigious Chancellor's Gold Medal, embodied the university's spirit of excellence. As a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery graduate, Law's journey symbolised the resilience and determination that MAHSA cultivates in its students.

The Vice Chancellor's Prize winners represented a diverse tapestry of academic excellence, spanning fields from medical sciences to early childhood education. A particularly poignant moment came with the posthumous award to Enthrah D/O Gunasekaran. In a deeply moving tribute, the university honoured her memory, presenting her Bachelor of Business Administration degree to her parents—a powerful reminder that education transcends personal challenges.


As graduates stepped into their new chapters, the underlying message was clear: MAHSA is not just an institution but a launchpad for global citizens who are kind, courageous, and committed to making a difference.

Twenty years of education. Five hundred dreams realized. One extraordinary celebration.

Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist. JAKOA's message was shared on their TikTok page (@jakoamalaysia) based on a post made by the Malaysia Orang Asli Students' Association (PMOA) on their Facebook page. PMOA shared this announcement on their social media on September 30th. Tan Bee Hui A/P Tan Boon Huat is MAHSA University Dental Faculty Alumni who successfully completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery earlier this year. She received her early education at SJK (C) Kuala Rompin and SMK Rompin before continuing her studies at Kolej Mara Banting. Ns. Mustopa, M. Kep, a recent PhD graduate from the Faculty of Health Science, Nursing and Education at MAHSA University, has been honoured with Indonesia’s Health Ministry National award for his extraordinary dedication in building and developing health services at the world's largest archipelagic state – Indonesia.   Driven by extraordinary passion and desire to provide quality health care service for everyone, Dr. Mustopa successfully created an integrated health service model in Islamic boarding schools for local residents and the Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School.
