Time management can also be defined as a form of self-management with a clear emphasis of time in understanding what activities to conduct, how to conduct efficiently and what should be done at the right time. Students these days often complain that they do not have enough time to complete all the tasks given to them. A university environment's flexibility and freedom also can derail students who are not able to manage their time properly. Study of English

In my career as a teacher of English language and literature two questions have always piqued my conscience. They are as follows: 1. What is the aim of studying English at the tertiary level? and, 2. Why should we study this foreign language alone to the exclusion of the other languages? These are reasonable questions. Let me briefly answer both questions together beginning with the second. It encourages a person to consider new connections and linkages and aids in learning, much like when creating a concept map. Another great way is by making use of visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts and graphs that can help make understanding the subject matter easier. Mnemonics as memory aids would be better too.
