MAHSA Student Clinch Gold At SUKMA XXI For Kabaddi Games

We're pleased to announce that our students have recently won gold at the SUKMA XXI event held in Sarawak for the Kabaddi games category.

Shakthi Shree A/P Visvalingam (Faculty of Health Science, Nursing & Education), and Bramakumari A/P Mani (Faculty of Pharmacy), both represented the Wilayah Persekutuan Kabbadi women's team which dominated the proceedings. The men's team in turn, despite fierce competition, struck gold as well.

To ensure they were adequately prepared for the event, the team trained fervently at our sports facilities for several months under the tutelage of their manager and our staff Mr. Anbarasu Letchumanan, a veteran kabaddi coach who has been instrumental in guiding the team from the preparation stage to conquering their rivals during the event.

This monumental victory under our belt has made all of us MAHSA immensely proud of their efforts! Keep striving to BE MORE!

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
