MAHSA hosts students from Daegu Health College, Korea 

25 students from Daegu Health College, Korea arrived at MAHSA University on 8th July 2024 for a 4-week mobility programme. The objective of this programme was to enhance the English language proficiency of the participants for effective communication in healthcare, provide exposure to Malaysian healthcare system and practices as well as foster cultural exchange and understanding between Korean and Malaysian students.

This inbound mobility programme offers a blend of academic learning, skills development and cultural immersion that provided for the holistic development of students.

Below are some of the highlights of the students’ time at MAHSA:

A) Classroom Activities    



B) Cultural Exchange: Malaysian Food Sampling





C) Games: Including introduction to traditional games of Malaysia


D.     Masterclasses on Green Technology and Sustainable Living

Ecovillage and Sustainable Tomorrow. This masterclass form part of our mobility programme to promote sustainable living and, develop environmental stewardship, foster innovation and encourage students to reimagine their environment. 



Additive manufacturing (3D printer) and application in health sciences. This masterclass is designed to expose students to the opportunity for improving healthcare delivery with rapid prototyping and cost-effective fabrication solutions- opportunity for disaster preparedness as 3D printers can be used to create essential medical supplies and support healthcare delivery in remote and/or underserved areas.




F.      Hands on Workshop on Sports Massage

This workshop provides knowledge and skills in pain management, post-surgical care, holistic care. The hands-on sport massage aims to provide practical skills in injury prevention, performance management and patient education. This holistic approach to patient care enhances the practitioners’ ability to address the physical and mental well-being of their patient which are both interrelated and interdependent.

At the end of the programme our students from both Korea and Malaysia shared their amazing experiences of interacting and learning with each other. Their growth and development are a testament to the success of this programme. Together we've enhanced the students’ English proficiency, explored innovative healthcare practices, fostered cultural exchange and built lasting friendships.

Food Hygiene and Safety Study Tour to Yakult Factory in Seremban

On 28 July 2022, The Environment Health Department of   MAHSA University organised a study trip for the students of Faculty of Education and Health Sciences to   the Yakult Factory located at Oakland Industrial Park,   Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
