Bank Negara Museum Educational Trip





The Educational Trip to Bank Negara Museum proved to be an enriching and insightful experience for the 80 students enrolled in the Macroeconomic course. Held on February 1, 2024, the trip provided students with a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge and firsthand insights into the workings of Bank Negara Museum. Upon arrival at the museum, students were warmly welcomed by knowledgeable guides who led them through a comprehensive tour of the exhibits. The museum's extensive collection of artifacts, interactive displays, and multimedia presentations offered a fascinating journey through Malaysia's economic history, monetary policy, and financial systems. Throughout the tour, students had the chance to explore various aspects of macroeconomics, including inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, and monetary policy. Engaging explanations and real-world examples helped students to connect theoretical concepts learned in the classroom with practical applications in the field of economics.

One of the highlights of the trip was a guided discussion with bank officials, who shared valuable insights into the roles and responsibilities of Bank Negara Malaysia in shaping the country's economic landscape. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, engage in meaningful discussions, and gain a deeper understanding of the complexities and challenges facing policymakers in today's global economy. Overall, the Educational Trip to Bank Negara Museum provided a valuable supplement to the Macroeconomic course curriculum, offering students a hands-on learning experience that complemented their theoretical studies.
