Project Tree Masterclass

 


On the 12th and 13th of September 2022, representatives from MAHSA University and Haniffa Business School attended the Project Tree Masterclass, as one of the Silver Sponsors for the corporate event. The corporate event was organised by Laughing Tree Sdn Bhd, a corporate advisory company that focuses on providing consultation for entrepreneurs and corporations in ensuring business sustainability.




The two-day event consisted of informative and engaging business talks targeted to budding SME entrepreneurs, ranging from building a personal brand, key strategies to export a company’s products to the global markets, the cutting edge methods of attaining funding for business ventures and many others. The list of distinguished speakers included MAHSA University’s very own Board of Governors member and Chairman of Laughing Tree Sdn Bhd, Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar, CEO of Teraju, Dato’ Haji Md Silmi, the Group Managing Director of DNex Berhad, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Syed Zainal and many others. The two-day event culminated in the Business Pitch Event, where 10 selected SMEs had the opportunity to pitch their business and obtain funding from esteemed investors such as MicroLeap, Malaysia Venture Capital Management (MAVCAP), pitchIN and others. 



In addition to the networking opportunities in between the talks, there was also a VIP-only networking session. During this session, the VIP companies, including MAHSA University, had the opportunity to further network with other companies and the speakers in a closed-room setting. Overall, the two-day event had disseminated a wealth of key information and strategies that are useful for budding entrepreneurs, who are looking to build and expand their business ventures.

Here at Haniffa Business School, we seek to position ourselves within the entrepreneurship ecosystem by providing the academic and corporate training as well as networking opportunities to aspiring business leaders, consistent with our motto of creating future global leaders. Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist. The event was meticulously organized, offering a diverse range of activities tailored to enlighten and guide students on their potential paths towards a career in medicine.
