MAHSA Library Information Literacy Training: Turnitin for Students

 

MAHSA Library conducted its second session under the Information Literacy Training series on 25th August 2022 from 2.30-3.30. The title of this session was Turnitin For Students

This training session was conducted by En. Mazlan Abd Latif, Training & Development Consultant at Access Sedunia Sdn Bhd,  who has  9 years’ experience in conducting Turnitin trainings and workshops for academic and research institutions to help academicians, students and researchers to do their best in producing original work while upholding academic integrity.

This training was aimed at teaching students how to create a Turnitin account as a student, submitting assignment/project paper, accessing and understanding the Similarity Score and Originality Report, and much more. It is hoped that this training would help MAHSA students become more familiar with the platform & features of Turnitin and leverage this tool to produce their best original work

This online training was attended by 111 participants, made up of 88 students and 23 staff. Students found the training to be simple, informative and beneficial for the learning activities they had to do in their respective programmes. We trust this training will help them in their academic journey at MAHSA University.

Food Hygiene and Safety Study Tour to Yakult Factory in Seremban

On 28 July 2022, The Environment Health Department of   MAHSA University organised a study trip for the students of Faculty of Education and Health Sciences to   the Yakult Factory located at Oakland Industrial Park,   Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Three lecturers and fifteen students from Environmental Health Department and Centre of Education and Language went on this trip.
