MAHSA University Signs MOU with KO Academy

MAHSA University is proud to announce its latest collaboration with Malaysia’s Leading Skin and Aesthetic Specialist – KO Academy through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding which took place today. This collaboration is also in line with MAHSA University’s coming clinical workshops, training and certifications in Aesthetic Medicine which will be offered to registered medical practitioners and registered dentists who aspires to pursue a niche specialisation in this highly sort after field.

KO Academy which is founded by Dato’ Dr. Ko Chung Beng in 1997 is pioneer and to date, the largest Skin, Laser and Medical Aesthetic Clinic in the country. This collaboration will open opportunities for both parties to provide added excellence in education and professional service in the field of aesthetics.

The signing of the MOU was done virtually between both parties. Dato’ Dr Ko (Founder of KO Academy and Consultant Dermatologist) , Dr. Edmund Lau (Medical Aesthetic Practitioner), and Dr Colleen (Medical Aesthetic Practitioner) represented KO Academy, while Prof. Dato’ Dr Ikram Shah (Vice-Chancellor), Prof Dr. Rusli (Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Bioscience and Nursing), Datin Dr Maya (CEO of MAHSA Health, and LCP certified Aesthetic Practitioner) and Dr Simerdip Kaur (Programme Coordinator cum Lecturer, MAHSA University), and Mr Danny Chan (Director of Business Excellence) represented MAHSA University.

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
