MAHSA UNIVERSITY VACCINATION CENTRE

It has been 3 weeks since we opened our doors to the community as we joined forces in combatting Covid-19 through the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme. The opening of MAHSA University PPV was led by our Founder Professor Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Hj. Mohamed Haniffa through MAHSA Health with his vision to speed up the immunisation process within the country. This is strongly supported by his team of medical experts and volunteers consisting of MAHSA University staff and students. Together everyone at MAHSA has been working day-in and day-out in providing service to the nation.

From receiving the vaccines early morning to making sure each and every recipient of it is cared for from registration to selfie-station; from sorting out safety and traffic flow to sanitizing the entire PPV before a new day begins - ensuring everyone is safe; each one had played a crucial role in making this effort a huge success.

Since 28th of June, we have vaccinated 41,853 individuals and today we begin rolling out the 2nd dose for those who came to us on their first visit here. It is most important that we mention too how this is an effort that is not ours alone. We are grateful and ever appreciative of the support we have been receiving by the many prominent patrons who have held hands with us in shouldering this work.

The MyVAC volunteers who have joined us through the generous support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the support of the Kuala Langat District Office and PDRM, doctors and nurses who have volunteered to be vaccinators and consultants, and NGOs and prominent companies who have stepped forward to fund our volunteers’ daily meals and in many other forms of help both cash and kind.

Doing this with all the help we have received so far makes it an even more meaningful journey – the beauty of what we truly are as humans in raising each other and protecting our fellow men and women, both young and old. The ripple effects of everyone’s kindness is immeasurable and for that MAHSA thanks you. #StrongerTogether
