In the afternoon, students were guided through a simulated food premise inspection, and practical session from Vector control unit which involved donning PPE and fogging application. The visit ended with, a brief visit to the new Automatic Drive-Through Recycling Centre (Adtrec) which operates 24 hours and pays the public for the items they bring. Three different receptacles for plastic, boxes and paper as well as steel and aluminium are available.

Our students had an invaluable immersive learning experience that exposed them to the role of an Environmental Health Officer in a local authority.

Thank you Majlis Perbandaran Sepang for allowing MAHSA students to visit and learn about the critical work local authorities do every single day to keep the public and our environment safe and healthy.
