The FOBAFLH Meet & Greet: Connecting Minds, Creating Bonds event was a resounding success, bringing together business students and faculty members in an engaging and collaborative environment. Held with the aim of fostering stronger connections within the academic community, the event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to interact with their lecturers outside the classroom setting. Taking place on 23rd of January 2024, the event commenced with a warm welcome from the organizers, setting the tone for a lively and productive gathering. Students were encouraged to network with faculty members, initiating conversations and forging meaningful relationships that transcended the traditional student-teacher dynamic.

Throughout the event, students had the chance to engage in informal discussions with faculty members, gaining valuable insights into various academic and career-related topics. From sharing personal experiences to offering guidance on academic pursuits and career aspirations, faculty members generously imparted their knowledge and wisdom, empowering students to navigate their academic journey with confidence.

Moreover, the Meet & Greet provided a platform for students to express their thoughts, ideas, and concerns directly to faculty members, facilitating open communication and dialogue. This exchange of perspectives not only strengthened the bond between students and faculty but also fostered a sense of community and mutual respect within the department. The event concluded on a high note, with students expressing gratitude for the opportunity to connect with faculty members on a personal level. The FOBAFLH Meet & Greet served as a testament to the importance of building relationships and fostering collaboration within the academic community, laying the groundwork for future partnerships and endeavors.

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist.
