FOHS Homecoming November 2022

Homecoming is an annual tradition organized within an organization to welcome back their former members or alumni in a festive event. The aim of the homecoming event is to celebrate the organization’s existence and express alumi’s pride for their alma mater while also celebrating progress of alumni and forge stronger links among the alumni network.

The Faculty of Health Sciences (FOHS), MAHSA UNiversity organized our annual homecoming on Friday, 25th November to welcome back and celebrate our Diploma and Bachelor’s students who had successfully completed their academic journey for several years at our faculty. We think this celebration is essential to show our students how proud we are of their achievements and that they are treasured as parts of MAHSA university for eternity. During this meet our alumni received guidance and words of advice from the faculty’s members and lecturers in pursuing their chosen courses in life.

The faculty’s staff and lecturers had put their best efforts in decorating the meeting room with festive ornaments and decorations to welcome and commemorate the alumni.

Our Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences (FOHS), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veronica Chua enthusiastically congratulated to our alumni of Diploma and Bachelor programs offered by FOHS; Medical Imaging, Physiotherapy and Environmental Safety and Health. Considering the golden opportunity, Prof Veronica advised the alumni to always strive to Be More, true to the maxim of MAHSA University and always look into enhancing the education qualifications and skills through Lifelong Learning and Continuous Education.

Committed to providing the best to the alumni, a concise briefing session dedicated precisely for Diploma’s alumni was held at the respective departments It is fundamental to provide a reliable platform for the alumni to have a questions and answers (Q&A) session in pursuit of the study to a higher level, ie. Bachelor in Medical Imaging (Honours), Bachelor in Environmental Health and safety (Honours) and Bachelor in Physiotherapy (Honours)Seeing our alumni’s progress and success in their tertiary education gave everyone in the faculty a sense of fulfillment and happiness that no words can describe.
