RESEARCH DAY '20

Research '20 was held on the 30th June 2021, which was the second annual one-day celebratory event that brought researchers together with the university staff and students and the broader MAHSA community. The presentations showcased the diversity of research projects by undergraduates, graduate students, staff researchers and other scholars in the University and gave researches the opportunity to practice presenting to a general audience, be eligible for monetary awards, and to get coaching on poster design and presentation skills
Those who attended the event learnt about the various research areas and celebrated the knowledge gained on research and creative works that are being done on campus by cheering on their fellow students and researchers and getting ideas for new collaborations and a chance to put their thoughts into choosing their majors.

Shattering Stereotypes: First Malaysian Indigenous Dentist

The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) recently extended their congratulations to Dr Tan Bee Hui, who became the first indigenous person to earn the title of Dentist. JAKOA's message was shared on their TikTok page (@jakoamalaysia) based on a post made by the Malaysia Orang Asli Students' Association (PMOA) on their Facebook page. PMOA shared this announcement on their social media on September 30th. Tan Bee Hui A/P Tan Boon Huat is MAHSA University Dental Faculty Alumni who successfully completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery earlier this year.
